AWG CWDM4 Mux&Demux for 100G Transceiver

With the demand for data center transmission rate and capacity upgrade, the optical module is upgraded from 40G to 100G. Among them, the 100G optical module, one of the mainstream solutions in the market, uses AWG coupling components, which is one of the core products of Yilut CWDM4 AWG Mux /Demux.

The chip adopts arrayed waveguide grating (AWG) technology to realize multiplexing and demultiplexing of 4 signal channels (1271nm, 1291nm, 1311nm, 1331nm), and realizes optical connection by using optical fiber array and customized LC non-standard adapter.

CWDM4 Mux is used for optical signal transmission port (Tx), and CWDM4 Demux is used for optical signal reception. This solution features low insertion loss, small size and fast assembly with modular active components.

The solution of AWG passive coupling components is mainly used in 100G QSFP28 CWDM4 optical modules and 100G CFP2/CFP4 LR4, ER4 optical modules.
